Overview:
Replacement fixed tube bundle heat exchangers are available
in two basic types, copper base alloy and stainless steel
construction, for virtually any application. These
heat exchangers are capable of satisfying various cooling requirements—from simple cooling of oil or water
to the more complex cooling and heating requirements
of exotic liquids or gases.
The use of copper tubing in the replacemen exchangers provides for some resistance to many, mildly corrosive
fluids; however the use of 90-10 copper nickel tubes is
recommended for improved resistance to corrosion from
salt or brackish waters.
Bonnets provide smooth flow with minimum impact on
the tube ends and tube sheets.
